GM has announced pop band, Maroon5, to perform the hits at the pre-North American International Auto Show bash the night before the auto show kicks off. Joining Maroon5 will be R&B idol, Mary J. Blige in addition to the music inspired fashions of Royal Underground, created by Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx and former St. John model and CEO Kelly Gray; and hip-hop mogul/entrepreneur Russell Simmons' new Argyle Culture line. GM's contribution to the event will be in the form of the Corvette Z06 7.0-liter LS7 V8 powered HUMMER H3R Concept first revealed at SEMA a couple of months ago plus the Corsa OPC from GM's Opel European subsidiary. All musical performances, fashions and vehicles will be presented in a runway style high-energy show set to music. Other vehicles scheduled to appear include the Chevrolet Beat concept, Saturn Astra tuner concept, all-new Chevrolet Malibu and Cadillac CTS production vehicles, E85 Hot Rod and Chevrolet Camaro convertible concepts plus several other vehicles, as well as a surprise introduction. Now, where's my invitation...
